For many young adults, the fall semester is just around the corner. Many students are observing their peers gearing up for college, starting internships, or getting great jobs. The pressures to keep up can be overwhelming for some young adults, as everyone goes through life at different speeds. Not everyone is ready to make a decision that will impact the rest of their lives at 18, 21, or even 25. For young adults living at home and uncertain of their future, this can be an especially difficult time of the year.

The feeling of being unsure about the future is not an uncommon one for young adults. While many programs offer help for individuals who are experiencing a “failure to launch,” it is vital for these young adults learn, experiment, fail, and achieve. This is the best way to help them step away, assess, develop insight into their identity, enhance their skills sets, and plan for a successful future.

By encouraging autonomy, responsibility, and greater well-being, we can help young adults living at home who are having trouble figuring out the “next step.” Pure Life by promotes lasting change in young adults by fostering personal development and self improvement through an integrated approach of traditional talk therapy, adventure therapy, community service, and cultural immersion.
